                     Trojan.Spy.Win32.Zbot.Aphg aka Trojan.FakeAlert is a rogue antivirus/antispyware program and it uses exploits, spamming to spread. Some trojans also download this rogue software in the infected system. It displays fake Microsoft security essentials alerts and tricks the user to buy fake antispyware software.

                     When the trojan is executed, copies itself to Windows System folder as ntservice.exe and %UserProfile%\Application Data\userinit.exe in the background. It also drops Rootkit.Win32.TDSS.Uiy, Virus.Win32.TDSS.B and Trojan.Win32.FakeAv.Glh ( hotfix.exe ) in the infected system.

                     Trojan.Zbot.Aphg modifies several registry entries to load automatically. It uses stealth techniques to avoid detection and removal. It is also known as Mal/Zbot-U, Trojan.Generic.4810417, Trojan:Win32/Opachki.D, Trj/Sinowal.DW, Backdoor.Trojan, Trojan-Spy.Win32.Zbot.gen.
